How you’ll make an impact…..

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the bookkeeping process runs as smoothly as possible, for both the client and our benefit. This includes the reviewing and processing of submitted documents, daily bank reconciliation, and actioning responses to any queries you have identified with the client. You will become familiar with each client's specific quirks to allow the data to be processed effectively; therefore enabling the bookkeeping to remain as up to date as possible. 

What you’ll bring….

  • Time management: Spread time to accommodate all clients, be cautious of approaching deadlines for specific clients throughout the year.

  • Responsive: Be able to action requests from emails as soon as manageable 

  • Organisation: Manage workload to ensure every client receives a consistent level of attentiveness

  • Communication: Be able to identify and query issues/concerns with the relevant people. 

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service

  • Experience of working with Xero (ideal but not essential)

  • At least 12 months bookkeeping experience

  • Adaptable nature in a fast paced and changing environment

  • A proactive mentality

The role is accompanied by a full time salary of between £18,000 - £23,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Remote working only, part time hours if desired, flexible working opportunities and the potential for apprenticeship training. Holiday of 25 days (full time) plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown period are also included.

How you’ll make an impact…..

You’ll be responsible for ensuring all Corporation and personal tax filings for our clients run smoothly and internal deadlines are met. You will be involved with the preparation and review of tax calculations, providing tax planning recommendations and answering tax queries. You’ll keep up to date on tax changes and roll out internal changes required as a result of these. You’ll mentor other staff members and review their work to develop their skills.

You will be organised and proactive to ensure all processes are as efficient as possible and clients are receiving the best level of service and advice. 

What you’ll bring….

  • Accountancy/Tax qualification

  • At least 3 years practical experience in areas such as:

    • Preparation of corporation tax returns

    • Preparation of personal tax returns

    • Reviewing other staff members work

    • Identifying tax planning opportunities

    • Liaising with HMRC

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service

  • Adaptable nature in a fast paced and changing environment

  • A proactive mentality

The role is accompanied by a minimum salary of £35,000, remote and fully flexible working opportunities and part time hours if desired. Holiday of 25 days (full time) plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown period are also included.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring all VAT filings for our clients run smoothly and internal deadlines are met. You will be involved with the preparation of management accounts packs. You’ll feedback to bookkeeping staff members and review their work to develop their skills.

You will be organised and proactive to ensure all processes are as efficient as possible and clients are receiving the best level of service and advice. 

What you’ll bring….

  • AAT qualification  

  • At least 2 years practical experience in areas such as:

    • Preparation and submission of VAT returns

    • Experience of bookkeeping on Xero

    • Reviewing other staff members work

  • Experience of e-commerce VAT rules preferable but not essential

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service

  • Experience of working with Xero (essential)

  • Adaptable nature in a fast paced and changing environment

  • A proactive mentality

You’ll be responsible for ensuring all statutory filings for our clients run smoothly and internal deadlines are met. You will be involved with the review of management accounts packs and providing recommendations. You’ll mentor other staff members and review their work to develop their skills.

You will be organised and proactive to ensure all processes are as efficient as possible and clients are receiving the best level of service and advice. 

What you’ll bring….

  • Accountancy qualification (ACA or equivalent) 

  • At least 3 years practical experience in areas such as:

    • Preparation of annual accounts

    • Preparation of corporation tax returns

    • Preparation of personal tax returns

    • Reviewing other staff members work

    • Identifying tax planning opportunities

    • Liaising with HMRC

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service

  • Experience of working with Xero (essential)

  • Adaptable nature in a fast paced and changing environment

  • A proactive mentality
